VOTE FOR BROOKE!

This came from my my good friend's blog (thanks Crystal). She is one of Brooke's friends. It's a message from Brooke herself. Just wanted to share and say VOTE FOR BROOKE for the next American Idol! Do you think that she'll be my nanny when American Idol is over?

Well... how can I possibly convey to you all just how grateful I am for your incredible support and love! The emails, messages, prayers, encouragement and VOTES, are SO GREATLY APPRECIATED! I seriously can'texpress this enough... If I could I would stand on the top of a mountain and scream at the top of my lungs that I love you all and that you all are the darn awesomest people in the universe!

Love you,
Brooke:)

Going on a Bike Ride

Kambrie has learned to ride her bike without training wheels. We went on a trail ride a couple days ago and she rode for three miles and then we realized that her back tire was flat. Hopefully it hadn't been flat for too long. Poor girl. She never complained, just rode and rode. What a little trooper.

Wii Bowling

What's your high score on Wii Bowling? Mine is 190. Yah, I thought I was cool until I got beat with a 196-good job Adrienne. At least my high score still tops the other genders' top scores. Too bad they don't have a rug burn on the top of their foot from dragging it every time like I do. I like bowling in shoes better. Next time I'll at least have to wear socks.

Angels Sent to Help

Life doesn't always go so well, and when this happens it's really easy to focus on the bad rather than the good. Today has been a bad day, real bad. Probably my worst yet since Danny has been gone. I've been pretty negative about it all too, but just as I was logging on to my blog to vent my thoughts I thought about the good things that happened today. I had two angels in my life today. Adrienne and Mindy. I love them. They saved me today, and if it weren't for them, I'd probably be running away instead of blogging. So remember to look for your angels. Appreciate, love and thank them. They've been sent by someone who knows you, loves you and doesn't want you to run away. Thankfully they listened to Him when He asked them to help his daughter. Thanks for lending a helping hand.

Giving in to my obsession, again...

Do you like the "Natalie Stuart Photography" or do you like the "Noodles Photography?" I'm just waiting for someone to come up with the best name ever, until then...it's still one of the others.

My Little Man

Click this link to see Kolter's session from today. I'm kind of bummed though. I just can't see myself not getting professional portraits of him, like I've done for all my kids on their milestones, but Danny doesn't see the point of paying someone when he says I can just do it. He doesn't understand the difference between a professional and me. Let me just tell ya, there's a lot. I need to take a class or something, cause everytime I take pictures I get all excited and then I just get bummed cause they don't look like the ones you see that you love. Oh well, maybe I just need to get over my whole picture obsession anyway. I'm about ready to sell my camera on ebay to the highest bidder, so I'm not tempted to try and take pictures anymore. Man, am I grouchy or what!?!

What do you think?

So, I'm looking for a name, a good name for my photos. Although I don't have a business, I need a good name for a watermark, and I really don't want to duplicate what's already out there. For instance I've been going with Moments Photography, but there's already like a million of these out there. I was wanting it to be creative, but it seems like anything I come up with has already been used. Do I just go with my name or what? Someone suggested Noodles Photography and I'm just wondering what you think. I'm looking for some feedback, so feel free to give me any and all input. Oh by the way...for those of you who don't know, Noodle has been my nickname since I was a little girl. I just don't know if it's too, ah, noodlie for photography. Get creative and come up with a name for me. Maybe if you pick the name I go with you can get a prize. Ha, ha.
By the way, the picture has been turned to a watercolor. So if it looks a little weird, that's why. I'm gonna hang it in Kambrie's room. It'll be so cute I think.

Missing Daddy

Danny is gone for a long 12 days. Today was day one. How did we do? Oh boy, we miss him already. Bedtime was crazy and after prayers Kamz gave me a long, long hug and then said in her soft little voice, "Mom, I miss Dad." Then she started to cry. What a little sweetie. Daddy's girl, I guess. Little girls need their Dads. We love you Dad.

Neva Feva

Because I'll always be a Neva . . . and hey just because his last name is Stuart, doesn't mean he isn't a Neva. After all, he is a Neva Stuart Mix.

Birthday Boy ~ Kolter Garyk

Kolter turned 3 today. He loved his birthday, the Lightning McQueen cake, all the presents, his huge donut for breakfast and everyone that came to help him celebrate. Happy Birthday Gar!

There's No Place Like Home...Or Is There?

Well, after losing Redick for over two weeks, Spike comes over last night and asks us where Red is. We told him he was gone and he starts thinking that maybe the dog he saw at his friend's apartment was him. He thought he really looked like him when he saw him, but didn't know he was missing, so thought nothing of it. Anyway, long story short, it was Redick. Crazy! They picked him up near the dorms (way far from home) and had been letting him live with them for the past two weeks. They loved him and really didn't want to give him back. I kind of felt bad for them, but at the same time, hey we had him for two years, they had him for two weeks. I was grateful that they took good care of him. In fact, probably too good. They let him roam the house and pretty much do whatever. He's having a little hard time getting back used to our house. I mean heck, he was bachin' it with college guys. Livin' the life. We're way glad he's back, but the question is...is he? Come on, of course he is, he loves the littles crawling all over him. Good dog Redick.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Karsten feels the grass for the first time. I think Kambrie looks like Jaylie a little bit in this picture. Do you?
Isn't that a pretty blue sky?
Kolter is a little hot rodder on his scooter. He's been riding that thing like a maniac since before he was two. He's so good at it.

Funny...

Here's the wig I was supposed to wear to the party. I decided not to at the last minute. The kids had fun with it anyway.

Sir Cameron and Maid Marilyn

We went to a neighborhood party on Friday and we had to dress up like the characters that we were. Here we are...It was so much fun. Thanks to my mom and the making of the dress in one night, Thursday. I love you, you're the best! Also, thanks to Mindy for babysitting for four long hours while we partied. She even missed Ryan's game. So sorry. You're the best too. Love you guys.

Another pretty little girl...

Here's a picture of my niece Olivia...Just for Katie because she gives me props. Sorry about the debris on her sweater. They were rolling in the leaves. They could be rolling in the snow right about now. Nice weather!

Help me out and vote!

Southern Utahs Unique Child Photographer 435.668.1136

Okay, I'm sending you to Kellie's blog again...this time to vote. No, not for Karsten, bummer, but for Ali Kate. If she wins she gets a free photo session from Kelllie. Sweet! Oh, by the way, Alice is my niece, Danny's brother's little girl. I was glad to see of all the pictures Kell took in 2007, Alice made it to her contest. This was one of my favortie pictures too. She's picture #14. Thanks for voting!

Does he look sick to you?

This was on Saturday right after Karsten threw up. Poor baby! I was holding him in the rocker after he woke up and he just started crying. The next thing I knew...yucky stuff all over me and him. So I tossed him in the bath and he was smiling and splashing. He's such a good baby. I didn't even know he was sick.

So the whole family has been sick now in the past week. Thank goodness Danny took good care of my today. I think I'm snapping out of it. Good thing. Mom doesn't get much time off. What is this nasty bug that's going around?

Gettin' Worked.

Well, I busted out the pink snakeskin Jordan's for my first ever church basketball game today. It won't be my last, but I hope it will be my worst. Whoa! Am I out of basketball shape. It only took me like four times up and down the court to realize that I wouldn't be playing my game the whole game. It was fun, but it totally sucks to not be able to play like you're used to playing because you physically are incapable of it because you're so tired. Although I was in double digits in scoring, I should've, could've had way more, and my rebounding and defense were weak, well, actually my whole game was weak. I'm weak. I gotta step it up. If you see me out running this week, or using Danny's keys to get into the church gym, you will know that the NEVA in me will not let me get worked two games in a row. At least not at age 29. Maybe next year I'll blame it on my old age, but for now, I'm taking no excuses except that I'm weak. Perhaps there's still time to redeem myself. I hope so at least.

Look at These Girls...

I was kind of noticing that the last few pictures of Kamz really weren't the best. So here's one of my favs. I love it. Love this one too. She's on the Stuart side of the mix-the Danny and Mindy Stuart side with those blue eyes. How come I can't get a blue eyed baby? I just love this picture, so thought I would share it. This one's for you, Rod and Katie too. Show her, K?

Beautiful Babies...

They've got my vote for Regis and Kelly's Beautiful Baby Search. You'd vote for them too, right? They are the cutest cousins, for sure.

Who's that lady?

Kambrie Alyse...I guess. I just can't quite get used to the new hair on Kamz. She looks so different to me.

Crazy Boys

Kyler taught Kolter how to stick out his tounge for the picture, and now I can't get a picture of Kolter without him sticking out his tounge.

A New Look for a New Year

Little Kamz got a haircut. We finally got it so it could be all one length after her own haircut a year and a half ago, and then we cut bangs! She wanted them, and I complied. She'd be cute no matter what though. Don't you think?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Eight Years ago we started the tradition of having a Neva Stuart Mix New Year's Eve Party when we went to the Stuarts' cabin at Brian Head. Every year since then, in some form or another, we have done the same thing. Ringing in the New Year with the ones you love. This year it was at our new house. Lots of space to play Wii and Kareoke, eat food and get carried away with the silly spray and New Year's Fun. Happy 2008 everybody!
Cindy gets in on the action, filming everybody, taking over Dan's usual job.
John, oh John. He got blasted.
" Happy New Year" says Terry, while Gary smiles. What's that pink crib all about?
Mindy and Ryan enjoy their first New Year celebration as Mr. and Mrs. Hughes.
Uncle Spikie takes care of his "pet" after he woke up from all the commotion. Hi Heather, oops, I mean, Michelle... (don't know if that's spelled right). Wyoming girl down visiting family for the holiday. She got to join the Neva Stuart Mix Party courtesy of Kyle. Super nice girl. It was fun to have her. They were the Wii tennis champions. Champions, hmmmm, nice breeding stock? (A Neva Stuart Inside joke) You have to be a Neva or Stuart to understand. Maybe someday...LOL! Spike, please don't kill me.
Karsten wakes up too. Doesn't want to miss his first New Year's Eve celebration.

Aunt Mindy takes care of the other two sleepy little ones. I guess we were just too loud.
Kolter blows his horn.
Alice never went to sleep. Too much to keep her entertained.
Not Kyler though...he slept through the whole thing.
The Dannys

Another group shot.
Bear stealing the first kiss of the new year. Tiffany's first New Year as a Neva.
Now that's capturing the moment. John, Molly and little Alice.
Jamie, Jamie, Jamie. Always in on it, whatever it is. Wade, did you do that to her?
Oh Bobby. Rough night.

Johnny Junior. Notice the clean up crew in the background. Don't worry. I didn't make Danny clean up all by himself. I helped, I promise.
Kambrie making the most of her time awake at one in the morning.

John making us all laugh, like usual.
