5 Months Old Already

Our little Kenz is five months old already. Where does the time go? It's looking like she's gonna keep her blue eyes, and the red hair seems to be sticking around as well. She is such a smiley little sweetie :) and she's a good baby, as long as you're holding her and she's not in her car seat. In other words...she cries every time we're in the car and if you're not holding her. Other than that, she's perfect ;) lol

First Day of School

Well, they made it through the first day of school! Kyler warned Kambrie that she wasn't gonna like going all day long, but she seemed to love it anyway. Actually Kyler seemed to like it today too. He even said his teacher was "the nicest teacher in the world." He asked Kambrie "Didn't you think she looked nice?" Kam said "Yes." Ky replied "Well she's as nice as she looks." Glad he likes his teacher :)

Lucky kids...Dad had warm cookies waiting for them when they got home. Peanut butter, my favorite.
Notice Ky's baseball shirt...he had the opportunity to play on a competition baseball team over the summer, the Snow Canyon Sliderzz and he's really been lovin' the game. He is learning to pitch and he's pretty good for just starting. His coach called him "a natural." :) That always make a mom smile. Anyway, he pitched in a couple innings in three of the four games at their first tourney. I can't even tell you how nervous I was the first time I saw him on the mound. Oh man! I almost couldn't take it. He struck out two batters in that first inning though, so that helped calm the nerves, a little. It was fun to watch him, and I'm looking forward to watching him in many more games. I think he'll be a good little player if he puts the time in to work at it.
BTW...Kambrie broke her arm a couple weeks ago. The kids were playing "Wipeout" on my exercise ball. Yeah, I guess she had her wipeout!

Bedtime Pictures

I just decided to take a few random pictures as the kids were going to bed the other night. So here are my kiddos, tucked in and ready for sweet dreams. Where's Ky? Well he held the blanket in front of his face and wouldn't let me get a picture of him. Anyway, 5 kids in 9 years of marriage and here's the proof. Happy Anniversary Danny!
