Oh, by the way, Alice is my niece, Danny's brother's little girl. I was glad to see of all the pictures Kell took in 2007, Alice made it to her contest. This was one of my favortie pictures too. Does he look sick to you?

This was on Saturday right after Karsten threw up. Poor baby! I was holding him in the rocker after he woke up and he just started crying. The next thing I knew...yucky stuff all over me and him. So I tossed him in the bath and he was smiling and splashing. He's such a good baby. I didn't even know he was sick.

So the whole family has been sick now in the past week. Thank goodness Danny took good care of my today. I think I'm snapping out of it. Good thing. Mom doesn't get much time off. What is this nasty bug that's going around?

Gettin' Worked.

Well, I busted out the pink snakeskin Jordan's for my first ever church basketball game today. It won't be my last, but I hope it will be my worst. Whoa! Am I out of basketball shape. It only took me like four times up and down the court to realize that I wouldn't be playing my game the whole game. It was fun, but it totally sucks to not be able to play like you're used to playing because you physically are incapable of it because you're so tired. Although I was in double digits in scoring, I should've, could've had way more, and my rebounding and defense were weak, well, actually my whole game was weak. I'm weak. I gotta step it up. If you see me out running this week, or using Danny's keys to get into the church gym, you will know that the NEVA in me will not let me get worked two games in a row. At least not at age 29. Maybe next year I'll blame it on my old age, but for now, I'm taking no excuses except that I'm weak. Perhaps there's still time to redeem myself. I hope so at least.

Look at These Girls...

I was kind of noticing that the last few pictures of Kamz really weren't the best. So here's one of my favs. I love it. Love this one too. She's on the Stuart side of the mix-the Danny and Mindy Stuart side with those blue eyes. How come I can't get a blue eyed baby? I just love this picture, so thought I would share it. This one's for you, Rod and Katie too. Show her, K?

A New Look for a New Year

Little Kamz got a haircut. We finally got it so it could be all one length after her own haircut a year and a half ago, and then we cut bangs! She wanted them, and I complied. She'd be cute no matter what though. Don't you think?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Eight Years ago we started the tradition of having a Neva Stuart Mix New Year's Eve Party when we went to the Stuarts' cabin at Brian Head. Every year since then, in some form or another, we have done the same thing. Ringing in the New Year with the ones you love. This year it was at our new house. Lots of space to play Wii and Kareoke, eat food and get carried away with the silly spray and New Year's Fun. Happy 2008 everybody!

Wyoming girl down visiting family for the holiday. She got to join the Neva Stuart Mix Party courtesy of Kyle. Super nice girl. It was fun to have her. They were the Wii tennis champions. Champions, hmmmm, nice breeding stock? (A Neva Stuart Inside joke) You have to be a Neva or Stuart to understand. Maybe someday...LOL! Spike, please don't kill me.
