Planting a Garden

Bishop Basso advised us all to plant a garden. So, we put on our "planting clothes" and our "shoes that already had dirt on them" and we made our first ever attempt at doing just that. It was a good time for us all. Kambrie loved watering the plants after they were planted.
Karsten, well, he loved getting dirty.
Kyler placed the plants making sure they were perfectly straight.
And Kolter loved using the shovel, or at least holding on to it and pretending like he was using it.

Congratulations on the garden. Last year was my first one. It is so wonderful to have your kids involved with a wholesome project and seeing nature work! Good luck. I read your comment about divorce. I too have been contemplating the same thing. Marriage is hard. Life is hard. We have to work hard at it, even when we don't want to anymore. I think if we are all a little less selfish and look to our Savior, a lot of heartache can be spared. It's when we stop doing the 'little things' are lives seem less happy. I don't know about you, but I want to be happy!

Nat I think people are getting the wrong idea about your divorce comments. You might want to reword that. They might be thinking it is you and it isn't. Look at valerie's comment and someone else commented in a different place about it too.
